I think of what this house will be like once we're not here, too. It's such an odd, uncomfortable feeling.

Thank you for sharing this, Gael :)wAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6109894327633416533.post-86136998578276619202015-03-23T04:14:01.752-07:002015-03-23T04:14:01.752-07:00Thank you, both! But best of all, all of our kids, the grandchildren. They've been so fortunate to grow up with grandparents like these two have been to them. I never had that myself.gael lynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08109953416971003657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6109894327633416533.post-65034222272362544652015-03-22T17:10:33.170-07:002015-03-22T17:10:33.170-07:00I remember going through my grandmother's hous...I remember going through my grandmother's house and helping my mom pack up a lifetime of living material. Things that bring memories, things you thought were long gone, things you've never laid eyes on, everything. Ssurridge said it well...thank goodness memories never have to be sold. Memories are what make the rest of it easier.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01132042235993262800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6109894327633416533.post-69762696698812316932015-03-22T16:31:43.113-07:002015-03-22T16:31:43.113-07:00Gratefully, memories never have to be sold or left...Gratefully, memories never have to be sold or left behind for another family. My mom talked about selling the house I grew up in for a couple years and it was all I could do not to have a lump in my throat just thinking about it not being there for my family any longer. Last year she changed her mind, but I know it will happen some day. That is such a gorgeous house that I'm sure it will create amazing memories for another family also...but that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. ssurridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05060787686310398918noreply@blogger.com
